Craig’s Furniture founder, WWII vet dies at 93

HARLINGEN — John “Craig” Grover, founder of Craig’s Furniture, a company with stores in Harlingen and Weslaco, died Tuesday. He was 93. Grover served in the U.S. Army in the Pacific in World War II and became a prisoner of war of the Japanese.
